Panel Discussion: Digital Assets 2.0: How Digital Assets Impact Financial Markets?
Published at : September 10, 2021
Digital assets have been on the rise. Tokenization and blockchain technology has the potential to change the world of finance in an unprecedented way. This panel discussion will revolve around the impact digital assets have on financial markets. We will have a look at the key distinctions between “classic” assets and digital assets and further enlighten the role of custody in this context. Moreover, we will discuss regulated financial service providers and the chances and challenges they face in regard to these novelties.
As digital assets are a relatively young phenomenon, there are a variety of inquiries regarding their impact on markets in general and specifically the finance sector.
Therefore, we would like to gain some clarity on the topic and answer the following questions:
Are Crypto Currencies becoming a topic for regulated financial institutions?
Does it have a size which is relevant for regulated financial institutions or do they still see this as a niche, will not grow any further?
How do they see that Coinbase is growing and getting into regulated space?
What are the challenges in the market infrastructure they see?
Why are regulated financial service providers well-positioned to provide custody solutions for digital assets?
What are the key questions a financial institution needs to ask prior to entering this market?
During the online panel, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the speakers.
