What makes Wrigley Field so iconic? To preserve the essence of this historic ballpark, and give the next generation of Cubs fans that same magical feeling when they walked inside, the design team identified features that would be untouchable during the renovation: The marquee, the ivy, the shape of the outfield and the manual scoreboard. But saving Wrigley Field was more complicated than anyone thought it would be.
