Today I want to share with you how to make old fashion donuts.

Old fashion donuts were my all-time favorite when I was a kid; I used to buy them at Mr. Donuts, the biggest donut chain in Japan.

I re-created the copycat recipe of the Mr. donuts old fashion donuts. It comes out so perfect that I should be sharing it with you!

・8 donuts
65g sugar
1 large egg
25g unsalted butter
200g cake flour (or all-purpose flour)
1 teaspoon baking powder

oil for frying
chocolate for coating
