Two Florida Highway Patrol troopers are feeling fortunate after they were nearly run down by a suspected drunk driver. It happened while they were investigating a fatal crash.

They say James Edward Sharp III drove through the road blockade, nearly hit two troopers, destroyed a laser mapping system and evidence, and continued driving without stopping.
