28th October - Massive X1 Solar Flare - Close Up Images! 4K

Today a massive X1 flare erupted on the sun - hurling immense amounts of radiation and charged solar particles into space.

The charged solar particles released from an accompanying CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) are expected to reach earth in a few days and should put on a spectacular Aurora display!
