My YouTube channel does not show up in the search results because my channel is possibly listed as private. There’s also a chance that your YouTube channel has a very similar phrase as a common search phrase. There’s a couple different reasons why your YouTube channel doesn’t show up in the search. A very likely cars might be that your keywords on your channel need to be your channel name to get more visibility. I find that the more unique of a name that you name your YouTube channel the more likely it is to come up when people search for it.

To enable people to be able to find your YouTube channel in the search results you should go into your channel settings and go into the keywords section of the basic info and add your name as a keyword. This will enable your channel to be devoted to the phrase or keyword of your channel name.

If I’m being completely honest though it’s not a huge deal to be able to find your channel in the search results if your channels pretty new. Chances are that your channel is just under six months of age and YouTube just has an indexed it very well I would advise you to also upload as many YouTube videos.

Another trick to getting your YouTube more prevalent in the search result is to have the name of your channel name in the title of a couple of the videos that you publish. This makes a huge deal because it lets the algorithm know that this is the name of your channel on your videos as well.

I also show you a trick that you can do in the Google search function where you can see if YouTube or also known as Google has index to your channel yet. Because there still is a chance that your channel in itself is maybe not indexable or it’s under the private setting and can’t be viewed by anybody. My YouTube Channel Does Not Show Up in Search
